Delivery of Goods
We can deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom although for deliveries to non-mainland UK addresses and certain remote locations e.g. Scottish Isles, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands there may be an additional delivery charge and slightly longer delivery times. This charge will be shown clearly during the checkout process.
Place of Delivery
Goods can be delivered either to your home address, to an alternative address or to your work.
Method of Delivery
Your order will be delivered by Royal Mail, Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or by Courier. A signature is required for all Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and Courier deliveries.
Checking Your Delivery
You are responsible for checking your order for damage before signing for your Order. If an order is signed for as “Received in Good Condition” or the order is signed for without any comment as to damage then we will not be liable for any damage subsequently found as all products are checked before being packed.
If the product is damaged then it must be returned with the courier and not accepted or accepted by signing as “goods received in a damaged or unsatisfactory condition”.
We must be informed of any delivery damage within 12 hours of the delivery time. Please retain the goods in their original packaging and do not use the goods.
Post and packaging is charged in addition to the prices shown for products. We make every effort to keep our delivery charges as low as possible. The delivery charge depends on the size/weight of the product ordered. When you add products to your shopping cart the appropriate charge will be added when your order is processed.
All delivery charges will be shown clearly on your invoice. Small items are sent 1st class recorded delivery, costs vary from £1.50 – £3.95 depending on size & weight. .Larger items are sent on a courier service, prices between £6.90-£11.95 depending on size & weight.
Delivery times are calculated in working days – i.e. Monday to Friday inclusive (working days do not include weekends or National Bank Holidays). In case of Bank Holidays please allow an extra 2 working days.
From the receipt of your order we will endeavour to deliver your chosen items to you within 1-2 days providing the goods are in stock, unless a longer delivery time is specified to you.
Deliveries to non-Mainland or remote locations may take longer.
Risk in the goods will pass to you on delivery
All deliveries must be signed for. If you are out when the courier arrives the Courier will leave a card with the contact number for you to call to arrange a suitable time for redelivery or for you to collect the goods from the local depot.
Unexpected Delivery Delay
We do everything we can to meet the delivery time specified in this section, however occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control and cannot be guaranteed. We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.
